* Several new faults were included or revised as a source of earthquake ground shaking in California,

The New Madrid Fault system extends 120 miles south/southwest beginning in the area of Cairo, Illinois, passing through New Madrid,
Missouri (on the West bank of the Mississippi River), then winding down to Blytheville, Arkansas, and ending approximately around Marked Tree, Arkansas. In the morning of December 16, 1811, the residents of New Madrid were jolted by an 8.0 Earthquake which came to be known as
The Great New Madrid Earthquake of 1811/1812. The New Madrid Seismic Zone is overdue for another large earthquake.
"The New Madrid Seismic zone lies within the central Mississippi Valley, extending from northeast Arkansas, through southeast Missouri, western Tennessee, western Kentucky to southern Illinois. Historically, this area has been the site of some of the largest earthquakes in North America. Between 1811 and 1812, 4 catastrophic earthquakes, with magnitude estimates greater than 7.0, occurred during a 3-month period. Hundreds of aftershocks followed over a period of several years. The largest earthquakes to have occurred since then were on January 4, 1843 and October 31, 1895 with magnitude estimates of 6.0 and 6.2 respectively. In addition to these events, seven events of magnitude >= 5.0 have occurred in the area. Instruments were installed in and around this area in 1974 to closely monitor seismic activity. Since then, more than 4000 earthquakes have been located, most of which are too small to be felt. On average one earthquake per year will be large enough to be felt in the area.
The New Madrid seismic zone is so named because the town of New Madrid, Missouri was the closest settlement to the epicenters of the 1811-1812 quakes. At that time, St. Louis and other major cities in the central U.S. were sparsely settled. At least 3 of the series of earthquakes were felt throughout much of the U.S. and as far away as Quebec. The potential for the recurrence of such earthquakes and their impact today on densely populated cities in and around the seismic zone, has generated much research devoted to understanding earthquakes. By closely monitoring the earthquake activity, scientists can hope to understand their causes, recurrence rates, ground motion and disaster mitigation. The probability for an earthquake of magnitude 6.0 or greater is significant in the near future, with a 50% chance by the year 2000 and a 90% chance by the year 2040. A quake with a magnitude equal to that of the 1811- 1812 quakes could result in great loss of life and property damage in the billions of dollars. Scientists believe we could be overdue for a large earthquake and through research and public awareness may be able to prevent such losses." (reference material from Introduction to New Madrid)

The model for earthquakes along the New Madrid Seismic Zone in the Central United States includes a wider
range of possible magnitudes and return periods between major earthquakes. The model was also adjusted to allow
for sequences of earthquakes to occur in groups of three within a few years time, similar to what occurred in
1811 - 1812. Offshore faults were added as possible sources of earthquakes near Charleston,
S.C.
In the Eastern United States, the greatest threat is along the New Madrid Fault
which runs along the Mississippi River from northeastern Arkansas through
western Tennessee, southeastern Missouri, and western Kentucky into southern
Illinois.
For North Florida and South Georgia, the threat remains among the lowest in the
country for earthquakes.

"I had the strangest dream last night. It was about 1:30 A.M., when suddenly the word
EARTHQUAKE awoke me in the middle of the night.
The word was very large, and very near, as if to describe a very BIG EARTHQUAKE coming!
Perhaps, close to a 9.0 magnitude. If the word had a voice, it would be screaming out loud.
The exact location was puzzling - the vision revealed only that it was very near
which could mean either location or timing.

The numbers listed below are not official, but reflect estimates to show the enormity of the devastation and tragedy. The number of deaths/missing are difficult to precisely determine because they change daily. An estimated 3 to 4 million people in Indonesia and Sri Lanka may be affected by the tsunami-earthquake with other countries reporting high numbers. Millions are homeless, starving, and without basic necessities, and hundreds of thousands may be dead and/or missing by the time the final statistics have been determined. Many victims were swept out-to-sea never to be found again, and others buried under thick mud and the rubble of demolished buildings. (see Satellite Imagery)
The tsunami-earthquake on death statistics of each particular country are in order of those most affected. This is a peculiar picture map because many of the countries affected predominantly follow Islam, with definitive human rights/religious persecution problems, especially toward nonMuslim peoples [specifically Christians - see Religious Persecution References]. In fact, due to the crisis caused by the earthquake-tsunami, a moratorium against killing Christians will most likely be instituted until after the rebuilding has begun and relief aid delivered to the affected areas - then the persecution and slaughter will start all over again. International aid workers, especially Western, may be confronted with dangerous situations and the need for security protection in the weeks to follow.
In Islam, Zakah should be given to the poor and needy Muslims only - not the infidels. [Zakah is a form of purification through the dispersion of one's monies - or wealth - to poor and needy Muslims.] Currently, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia have pledged between $10 and $30 Million dollars in aid for India, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka. Other predominantly Arab nations have promised an additional estimated $30 million in relief efforts.

Also, note the List of Agencies Helping Tsunami-Earthquake Victims for humanitarian purposes irregardless of predominant or state religion. Again, the United States, Japan, Britain, and Australia have generously pledged more than most other nations including predominantly Muslim countries.

note of peculiar interest is the hardest-hit areas in Indonesia and Thailand, such as Phuket,
are the world's foremost locations to find abuse of
the innocent - the "children," victims of

Signs Before The Catastrophe
Great agitation will beset mankind shortly before I appear through the forces of nature. The catastrophe will ounce itself in such a way, that both, man and animal will feel a keen awareness that something momentous is about to happen. Strange behavior among animals will become particularly apparent. They will attempt to flee in a given direction and as suddenly turn back, as though driven by an invisible power. Such behavior will instigate fear among the people who will feel that there is something strange happening against which they cot protect themselves. All things will wait in fear for that which is coming.You My servants on earth use this time zealously for there is yet a short period of grace in which your words may still be listened to by those attempting to find an answer to the strange behavior patterns felt by man and animal. Call attention to My Word, prepare them for My appearance and refer them to Me that they may take shelter with Me when the hour comes in which I shall speak! Then also, join yourselves in thought with Me that you may be a strong support to those who are unbelieving or to those of little faith. You must save yourselves ....and will be able to do so if you call to Me before, as well as in the hour of greatest need.
I call your attention to the signs. I give you opportunity to observe your immediate environment in which everything that I have told you will come to pass; and when you notice the restlessness and great strain upon your fellowmen, you will know the reason, and will be able to speak with much effect. You will experience that the man who lives in Love will believe you, whereas, men without Love will listen to you, but see no gain in it for themselves before the hour is upon them in which My voice will manifest itself.
There will be tossing and raging! No one will concern himself about the safety of anyone else, his only intent being to save his own life. All will attempt to escape but will find the same tossing and raging everywhere. Man will be sustained during this time according to his relationship with Me. He will be given his live or be wafted away whichever My Wisdom has seen fit through all eternity. Even though it is seemingly quiet, and, as yet, there seem to be no signs, do not mistakenly imagine that it will not come, the catastrophe is coming, and the unbeliever will see with his own eyes, if he is fortunate enough to have retained his powers of perception.
I have spoken through My Spirit to make it known to you, and I will speak to you through the forces of nature in a voice that all must hear. He who would not believe My first Word will then hear this second voice from above. Even then, he stands free to regard what has happened as a natural play of nature, or to remember My previous admonitions; and to believe that it was I, showing MYSELF to you who did not believe the voice of My Spirit. Blessed is he whose life was spared. For him there is still a very short time to make up what he has neglected and to earnestly prepare for the end, which will come very shortly after the catastrophe.

"Believe It Or Not - Earthquakes!" A Sign?
On Sunday, June 27, 2004, Lampholder Publications' had a response to some pretty strong statements an individual used against the validity of prophecy, acts of GOD, and forewarnings of future events. In looking at the subject of GOD, prophecy today, and future events, I referenced, in rather general terms, "If GOD wanted to give a "sign," and speak through a prophetic word to the world, He could cause a rather good shaking earthquake tomorrow in a somewhat rare location in the Midwest."
At the time, this point-of-reference wasn't intended to be a prophetic utterance, but it would make one wonder how, and in what way, GOD may be speaking about "a shaking," - not just coming to the United States, but to all the people of Earth?!

~ EARTH ALERT!
Most of the time when G-d reveals a prophecy, it is distinctly known in my spirit. This was the case last evening. Sometimes I hesitate before revealing these prophecies in order to test the spirit of prophecy and receive confirmation from the L-rd. On the night of January 15, 2002, the L-rd revealed to me a prophecy picture as follows:
The prophecy picture came
as a snapshot looking down at
the "ground,"
while the other section
began
moving in the opposite.
The crevice acted in a
similar fashion as a buffer
zone
part of
the ground's agitation; and yet,
it also stood as a
separate
entity apart from the movement.
This moving back and
forth,
in opposite directions,
reminded me of someone
grinding their
teeth.
A separate, but somehow
connected, prophecy picture came
Then another picture
revealed a tall building
with many
darkened, glass windows
shaping the outside structure
The building began to
bounce and shake
back and forth with a
violent force.

The Nyiragongo eruption caused numerous, violent earthquakes forcing hundreds of thousands of people to flee into the countryside. In the last several days, volcanic ash spewed into the air and molten, hot lava flowed through the city streets of Goma (virtually dividing it in half). The lava destroyed everything in its path - people, buildings, trees, and shrubs - leaving the ground barren and consumed by fire. The fire created a red-colored sky and orangish-glow to the surrounding countryside, destroying village after village, before emptying into Lake Kivu.
Please continue to pray...The Nyiragongo eruption is a tragic event contained in the January 14-15th prophecy; but we discern something more to this Earth Alert. The prophecy did not specify a month — just the prophecy days which were marked for the time-period around the 18th through 20th, and global in interpretation.
NOTE: Lampholder Publications received letters implying the Earth Alert prophecy was associated with a future earthquake in, and or around, the San Francisco area near the Golden Gate bridge. Several letters were from people in the San Francisco area who claimed they felt a number of (small) earthquakes on January 17th/18th in their vicinity and around the Mexico border. They thought this might be the fulfillment of prophecy; but remember, these earth tremors are not unusual - hundreds of earthquakes occur in California daily. —Time will reveal the truth, but the inevitable "big quake is coming."
We discern this year to be a year of the unexpected: “big” storms, Earth eruptions/great shakings, earthquakes, and strange weather-related events of an unprecedented nature. We recall several people negatively questioned the November 2000 Terror Prophecy Alert; that is...until September 11, 2001, arrived (almost one year later) and the WTC terrorist attack occurred (see Lampholder Publication September 2001 Prophecy Newsletter on index page) (along with all of the other prophecies proven true.)
