Sept. 21, Claudine Parker, age 52, a liquor store clerk working in Montgomery, AL is killed, and Kellie Adams, a co-worker age 24, was seriously wounded during an armed robbery.  Police find a weapons' magazine with John Lee Malvo's fingerprints on it.   

Oct. 2, 5:20 p.m.  Several windows were shot out at the Michaels' store in Aspen Hills area of Montgomery County, MD.  No injuries reported.

Oct. 2, 6:04 p.m.  James D. Martin, 55, of Silver Spring, MD., killed in grocery store parking lot in nearby Wheaton.

Oct. 3, 7:41 a.m.  James L. ``Sonny'' Buchanan, 39, of Arlington, VA., killed while cutting grass at a Fitzgerald Auto Mall dealership in White Flint area of Montgomery County.

Oct. 3, 8:12 a.m.  Taxi driver Prem Kumar Walekar, 54, of Olney, MD., killed at an Amoco gas station in Rockville.

Oct. 3, 8:37 a.m. Sarah Ramos, 34, of Silver Springs killed while reading a book on a bench outside Silver Springs post office in the Leisure World Shopping Center.

Oct. 3, 9:58 a.m. Lori Lewis-Rivera, 25, of Silver Spring killed as she vacuumed her van at a Shell gas station in Kensington, Montgomery County.

Oct. 3, 9:15 p.m. Pascal Charlot, 72, of Washington, D.C., killed while walking down Georgia Avenue.

Oct. 4, 2:30 p.m.  Caroline Seawell, 43-year-old woman, is wounded in the parking lot of Michael's craft store/shopping mall parking lot at the Spotsylvania Mall in Fredericksburg, VA.

Oct. 7, 8:09 a.m.  Iran Brown, a 13-year-old boy, is wounded as he was dropped off at school at Benjamin Tasker Middle School (Prince George County, a Maryland suburb of Washington D.C.).   Tarot Card #13 found at the scene.

Oct. 9, 8:15 p.m.  Dean Harold Meyers, 53, of Gaithersburg, Md., killed at gas station in Manassas, VA.

Oct. 11, 9:30 a.m. Kenneth H. Bridges, 53, of Philadelphia, killed at an Exxon gas station off I95 near Fredericksburg.

Oct. 14, 9:15 p.m. Linda Franklin, 47, of Arlington, Va., fatally shot at Home Depot store in Falls Church, VA

Oct. 19, a man is shot in the stomach while leaving the Ponderosa restaurant in Ashland, Virginia, 70 miles south of Washington D.C.; a three-page letter written by the sniper(s) was discovered in the woods nearby

Oct. 22, Conrad Johnson, a bus driver, is shot and killed while standing on the steps of his bus in Aspen Hill, Maryland, approximately 10+ miles north of Washington D.C.  A sniper(s) message was communicated stating, "Your children are not safe, anywhere, at any time."

Other killings that may be linked to the D.C. Sniper crime spree: 

March 21 2002 - Tucson, AZ - Jerry Ray Taylor, 61, is killed while practicing golf at Tucson's Fred Enke Golf Course.  In May 2002, Clearwater, FL, Albert Michalczyk, age 72, was shot in the chest and died while playing golf.

October 24 - Both John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo were caught while sleeping in a blue, 1990 Chevy Caprice at a rest stop in Maryland.

The Washington D.C. sniper attacks ended on October 24th, when police arrested

John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo at a rest-stop area off of I-70 in Frederick, Maryland.

Muhammad was found guilty and received the death sentence in 2004.  Malvo received several life

sentences of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.
